ABOUT
An operator’s view of your next investment.
David Higares
Founder & Principal · LinkedIn
I founded Higares Infrastructure Group to give investors and infrastructure businesses direct access to current owner/operator experience: someone accountable for assets, crews, and capital budgets today.
Operating Background
For more than 20 years I have worked across the full infrastructure asset lifecycle, from precision manufacturing and equipment R&D to water and wastewater operations, maintenance, construction, and leadership. I have commissioned treatment facilities, led crews and contractors, delivered capital work, and implemented CMMS/EAM, asset data, controls, and operational technology.
Today I lead maintenance and construction for a regional water infrastructure portfolio spanning treatment, conveyance, and pumping assets.
Advisory Perspective
Financial and desktop engineering reviews often miss what drives performance in the field: maintenance maturity, deferred work, workforce depth, vendor dependency, and whether the capital plan can actually be executed. I evaluate assets and operating organizations from the owner/operator side, where those risks show up first.
